Defenseman Sheldon Souray finally found a landing spot, signing a one-year, $1.65 million contract with the Dallas Stars on Friday.Souray was bought out of his one-year, $4.5 million contract by the Edmonton Oilers on Friday, one day after the team placed him on unconditional waivers. He spent the entire 2010-11 season in the minors after the Oilers were unable to satisfy his demand for a trade.Souray, who will turn 35 on July 13, had 23 goals and 30 assists for Edmonton in 2008-09, but his production dipped dramatically the following season when he managed only four goals and nine assists in 37 games.
