Chicago’s Dave Bolland tried the old “I made you flinch” trick on Brad Marchand during Game 2 of the Stanley Cup Final on Saturday night, but to no avail. Bolland, who was being sent to the penalty box for tripping during the second period, got right in Marchand’s face before quickly retreating to the box. Marchand didn’t seem too amused by Bolland’s antics, though, and he had some choice words for the Blackhawks center after. Check out Bolland trying to make Marchand flinch in the GIF below. Lineup changes necessary for the Chicago Blackhawks

Chicago Blackhawks head coach Joe Quenneville and his staff have  a lot to think about before tonight’s Game 3 at the TD Garden. The series is now tied after Boston’s comeback victory in Game 2. The Blackhawks were a different team after the first period of Saturday night’s game. The Bruins made Chicago play at their pace for the last 53:48 and the Blackhawks only managed...

Hossa scratched for Game 3

The Chicago Blackhawks have scratched forward Marian Hossa from Monday's nights Stanley Cup finals game against the Boston Bruins. Hossa was tied for the team lead with 15 points in the playoffs. He was third in the regular season on the Blackhawks with 17 goals. The Blackhawks said on their Twitter account that ''something apparently happened during warmups.'&...

Zdeno Chara-Bryan Bickell, Brad Marchand-Andrew Shaw Trade Blows Near Conclusion of Game 3 (Video)

The Stanley Cup Final between the Bruins and Blackhawks has not been quite as “angry” a series as Boston’s matchup with the Penguins in the Eastern Conference finals, but you wouldn’t know it by watching the final minute of Monday’s Game 3. With barely 10 seconds remaining in the third period, Zdeno Chara and Bryan Bickell began exchanging shoves in front of B’s goalie...

Brad Marchand Breaks Stick in Frustration After Missing Opportunity to Score (GIF)

The Bruins and Blackhawks finished the first period of Game 3 of the Stanley Cup Final in a 0-0 tie. The Bruins were not without their opportunities in front of the net, though. The B’s missed an opportunity when a quick 3-on-1 breakaway ended in an offsides call, and Corey Crawford did his best brick wall impersonation, making 11 saves in the first period. Bruins forward Brad...

Chicago Blackhawks Viktor Stalberg to play Game 3

Photo courtesy of Chicago Blackhawks BOSTON--  It appears that the Boston Bruins will have to deal with another one of the weapons the Chicago Blackhawks  possess on Monday evening. According to a report from Scott Powers of , Viktor Stalberg  will play in tonight’s Game 3 after being a healthy scratch for the first two contests of what has been a very entertaining...

‘Kane is a weenie’ is a wireless network available at TD Garden

Someone at TD Garden is having a little fun with the Chicago Blackhawks. Chicago Tribune hockey writer Chris Kuc tweeted a photo of the wireless networks available at TD Garden (presumably in the press area) for Game 3 of the Stanley Cup Finals between the Blackhawks and Boston Bruins, and one of them is named, [...]

Bruins Lucky to Be Hanging Around Early Against Blackhawks While Chicago Lays Siege to Tuukka Rask (Video)

The Blackhawks wasted little time putting the pressure on the Bruins in Game 2, but the B’s are hanging around. Boston is probably lucky to only be trailing by one goal after a frantic first period, in which Tuukka Rask made more saves than Corey Crawford might have to all game. NESN Nation’s Dan Duquette is a little worried about the B’s, but he knows this could have gotten...

Game Three

Chicago's offence seems to have dried up.  They haven't scored a goal since the first period of game two.  This was the highest scoring team in the West Conference this season.  It appears that their best scorers are hurt or injured.  Marian Hossa missed game three as a late scratch.  Neither Jonathan Toews nor Patrick Kane have looked like the stars they usually look...
