The Boston Bruins doubled their lead to 2-0 when David Krejci scored on a rebound during the first period of Saturday’s afternoon matinee against the Buffalo Sabres. After defenseman Dougie Hamilton skated the puck in the attacking zone, Zdeno Chara got the puck at the point and fired a shot on net. Sabres goaltender Matt Hackett stopped that shot, but he couldn’t corral the loose puck and Krejci pounced on it to score with a backhand. Bruins vs Devils: closing time

Its the last game of the season for the Boston Bruins. It would be a really sad day, but everything is alright, because the Bruins are in the playoffs. Sabres Attempt to Deny Bruins the President's Trophy, Do Not

04.12.14 Sabres at Bruins Game Recap The Sabres rolled into Boston to face the league leading Bruins.  By league leading, I mean that if the Bruins win, they will be the owners of the Presidents Trophy (if my math is correct).   It's also the last road game of the season for Buffalo.   If it's going to be a win, it will be earned. Matt Hackett got the start in net...

But What About Motown?

With one game remaining in the regular season, the Boston have secured the President's Trophy for the first time since the 1989-1990 season. Good news? I have irrefutable proof that the Bruins are the best team in the NHL. The bad news? If play-offs start tomorrow, the Bruins will play the Detroit Red Wings.   Most people think that playing the 8th seeded team in the NHL guarantees...

Cleanup Aisle 3, There Is Much Defecation. BRUINS LOSE. ☆

1. I love the word “defecation”. 2. While this game means absolutely red rocket dog dick in the long run, the trend of giving up late third period goals is a little concerning. I’m not here to spread fear and panic within the Bruins fanbase because, like I said, these games don’t mean ****. Boston has the top seed locked up, they are resting key players and they’re basically...
