There has been a lot of talk about how players are going to handle the 48-game slate this season. But while some might find the adjustment to be difficult, there is a good chance that David Krejci will hit the ground running. Krejci is undoubtedly one of the more talented players on the Bruins’ roster, but consistency has sometimes been a concern. The B’s center typically elevates his play when the games matter most, but there are other times throughout the course of a season when he’ll hit a lull. Now that every game is going to be that much more important in a shortened season, though, one has to think Krejci will be bringing his A-game every night. NESN’s Naoko Funayama and WEEI.com’s DJ Bean previewed the upcoming season, and Bean thinks the Bruins hold a distinct advantage over some teams going into the abbreviated campaign because they didn’t make many changes. While some teams, including the Canadiens, have a limited amount of time to adjust to new players or coaches, the B’s should be able to hit the ground running. Check out the video above from NESN Daily for a preview of the Bruins’ upcoming season.
