New Jersey Devils center Travis Zajac is not expected to return to the lineup for at least another month, general manager Lou Lamoriello said.
Zajac, who will likely resume skating in about a week, has been recovering from a torn left Achilles tendon.
Zajac missed the team's first 30 games this season after suffering the injury during offseason workouts. The former first-round pick returned to the club on Dec. 16 before sitting out in early January with pain in the same area.
Lamiorello detailed that the injury is healing properly, but the 26-year-old must build up strength and flexibility before returning to game action.
