Rumor: Blackhawks, Isles Still Talking Trade?

Blackhawks Roster Updates

Patrick Sharp and Marian Hossa returned to practice on Thursday, but both have already been ruled out for Friday’s game against the Anaheim Ducks. The team is (rightfully) being cautious with the two stars; Sharp is hoping to return next … Continue reading →The post Blackhawks Roster Updates appeared first on Committed Indians.

About Last Night…Sheldon Souray’s Seventh Sinks Chicago

Sheldon Souray’s goal with 2:08 left in regulation lifted the Anaheim Ducks to a 2-1 win over Chicago and pulled the Ducks within three points of the top spot in the league. Ducks Give Andrew O’Brien Entry Level Contract by   Steven Ellis

The Anaheim Ducks have signed prospect Andrew O’Brien to a three year entry level deal. Last season,  O’ Brien was a physical force on the blue line for the Chicoutimi Saguenéens while providing timely offense in his second QMJHL season. In 68 regular season games during the 2011-2012 campaign, he scored 8 goals with 21 assists and was +2, [...]

Blackhawks-Red Wings Preview

The Chicago Blackhawks have maintained their spot atop the Western Conference despite playing average hockey since their record-setting point streak came to an end. Catching Chicago doesn't seem feasible for the Detroit Red Wings, but picking up a rare victory over their rivals would only help in their battle for playoff positioning. The Blackhawks look to get back on track...

Dan Boyle drop gloves with Corey Perry after sucker punch (Video)

Pretty outstanding effort from the Sharks these last two games (how often have we said that since January?), outscoring the Ducks, the second-best team in the West right now, 9-3. Maybe Ducks winger Corey Perry, a recent recipient of a $69 million contract extension, was sick of it by the time the Sharks scored what proved to be the final goal of Wednesday night’s contest, a shorty...

TiqIQ Ticket Preview: Blackhawks vs. Ducks

By Matthew Feuerman of TiqIQ, Once the darlings of the NHL and American sporting lure as a whole, the Chicago Blackhawks, having gone the first 24 games of the 2012-2013 campaign without a regulation loss, have fallen back down to earth ever so slightly since the Avalanche broke their record on March 8. Since that date, the team is a more mortal 3-3, though they did beat the...

Ducks Keep Sliding in Loss to Sharks

It is a good thing the Ducks have built a nice cushion in the Pacific Division, because right now, they are tanking.  Bad. After a marvelous and unexpected start to the season that has included two defeats of Chicago, the number one team in the NHL, Anaheim has now managed to string together a four game losing streak that does not look pretty.  Really?  This is the same...

Ducks-Blackhawks Preview

Since becoming the only team to record two wins over the Chicago Blackhawks, the Anaheim Ducks haven't earned another victory. The second-place team in the Western Conference will try to halt its season-high losing streak Friday night by sweeping the series with the conference-leading Blackhawks, who likely won't have Marian Hossa or Patrick Sharp in the lineup. While Chicago...
