The Bruins and Islanders have been locked up in a tight one on Friday night, and it’s hard to tell which team is supposed to be rested and which is playing a back-to-back.
NESN Nation’s Dan Duquette has noticed a lot of energy in the TD Garden, but not just in this game. In fact, it appears that there’s been a lot more energy and end-to-end action in these games than in years past — to the point where it’s reminiscent of how games were suddenly wide-open after the last lockout.
