Published Blog: Penguins Experience Title: Penguins Defeat Hurricanes 7-4, Lead Series 2-0 Author: PenguinsExperience Evgeni Malkin had an amazing night.  His third goal was one of the nicest I've seen in a while.Overall, it was a very exciting hockey game.  The goals came fast and furious and it was a great night to be a hockey fan. The Penguins performed well, scoring six goals on Cam Ward who had been a brick wall up until last night.  However, despite the victory and the 2-0 series lead, the Penguins cannot get cocky and assume this series is over.In the last round the Washington Capitals won both games at home and went on the road up 2-0.  We all know what happened there.  We also know that Carolina does not quit in these playoffs.  Returning home having been lit up in game two, the Hurricanes will play a much better game in game three.The Penguins will need to meet them at t...
