When it comes to the Philadelphia Flyers, you really should expect pretty much anything to happen. Over the last week, the Flyers said goodbye to Mike Richards, Jeff Carter, Darroll Powe, and Dan Carcillo. Today, they saw Ville Leino (Buffalo), Brian Boucher (Carolina), and Sean O’Donnell (Chicago) sign elsewhere. And we though it would be completely insane if the Flyers got Steven Stamkos’ name on an offer sheet.
And they also made quite the ruckus around the league by doing what they do – whatever they think needs to be done. The day started when they shocked the hockey world by signing Jaromir Jagr – an All-Time great and constant nemesis of the Flyers to a 1-year $3.3M contract. Jagr spent the last three years playing for Avangard Omsk in Russia of the KHL.
