Former NHL goaltender David Aebischer is expected to attend the Winnipeg Jets' training camp on a tryout.
Aebischer, who has played with HC Lugano of the Swiss Nationalliga A for the last four years, will vie for a roster spot with Ondrej Pavelec and Chris Mason.
The 33-year-old Aebischer last played in the NHL with the Phoenix Coyotes in the 2007-08 campaign.
Aebischer has posted a 106-74-17 mark with a 2.52 goals-against average in 214 career NHL games with the Colorado Avalanche, Montreal Canadiens and Coyotes.
He was also a member of the 2001 Stanley Cup-winning Avalanche.
