The Toronto Maple Leafs picked up forward Fabian Brunnstrom from the Dallas Stars for prospect Mikhail Stefanovich. Brunnstrom is on a one year, one way contract extension which is worth $675,000. The 6-2, 212 pound winger is scheduled to join the Marlies immediately. Brunnstrom came into the league in the 2008-09 season and as a rookie he has put up his best NHL numbers with 17 goals 12 assist for a total of 29 points over a span of 55 games. Brunnstrom is 25 years old and in my opinion this is a great trade for the Maple Leafs.
