Former Edmonton Oiler Fernando Pisani has signed a 1 year deal with the Chicago Blackhawks worth $500,000 per year. The deal is definitely an affordable one for Chicago and Pisani should fit nicely on the 3rd or 4th line this season. This of course means another roster spot will be taken away and will more then likely be Kyle Beach who won’t be getting an opening day roster spot  unless he has an unreal training camp and knocks out Jake Dowell which is unlikely. Chicago may however want to carry an extra forward but that could be tough John Scott. We shall see how the Hawks want to address things sooner or later.
