The Los Angeles Kings have lost once in regulation since Darryl Sutter took over as coach last month. A visit by the Calgary Flames could help the Kings pick up even more points. Los Angeles looks to extend its point streak to six when it faces a Flames team trying to snap its longest road skid in five seasons Thursday night. Since replacing the fired Terry Murray, who was dismissed Dec. 12, Sutter has led the Kings (23-15-9) to an 8-1-5 record. Los Angeles, seventh in the Western Conference with 55 points, capped off a 2-0-1 trip with a 3-2 shootout victory over Vancouver on Tuesday. The Kings, 3-0-2 in their last five, had 15 first-period shots after managing six apiece in the opening 20 minutes against Calgary and Edmonton in the first two stops of the trip.
