First off, a bit of housekeeping. Our apologies for the lack of a Flyers gamethread and recap on Saturday. It was a very busy weekend for us off of the Level, and we weren't able to get to these. We'll be sure to make it up to you. The Flyers chatter has been great so far, especially considering the Phillies are in the playoffs and the Eagles are off to a great start. It's going to be a great season for the Orange & Black.
Anyway, the Flyers have a huge break in the schedule after a very challenging leg to start the season. They have no games until this Friday night, and after that, they're off until the following Thursday. The team will have its annual bonding trip between now and Friday, with this year's excursion taking place in Fort Lauderdale. Not a bad setting for bongo drums and trust falls.
The team got started on the male bonding a little early, heading over to the Linc yesterday for the Eagles game. There are some pics from their tailgate here at the Flyers site, including this pretty hilarious shot of Scott Hartnell with his hair straightened and a gag t-shirt. Speaking of families, let's just say that when hockey players decide to settle down, they don't necessarily settle. Well done, guys.
