Scott Hartnell and the Flyers continued their strong play, but the win came with some negatives. Claude Giroux and Ilya Bryzgalov both left the game due to injury.
Giroux took a knee to the back of the head from Wayne Simmonds, but Paul Holmgren did not make it seem too serious after the game.
