Sheffield United winger Ryan Flynn says Mark Howard's injury blow has been softened by the quality of stand-in goalkeeper George Long. Howard has been ruled out for up to three months with a thigh injury, but Long has turned in two performances beyond his years after stepping up to replace the Blades' first-choice keeper, and Flynn has lots of confidence in the 18-year-old's ability. "Mark has been doing really well. Simmo had been here a few years and Mark has stepped into his shoes and has performed really well, so it is disappointing to lose him, but George came on the other Saturday and did very well," said Flynn.
