Last night the Blackhawks dropped an overtime game to the Penguins at the United Center. The highlight of the night for the Hawks was Jonathan Toews' first career hat trick. The highlight for me involved free helmet night. The first whatever-thousand fans received a Blackhawks hard-hat last night and when Toews tipped the puck into the net in the second for his apparent hat trick clincher, Hawks fans went all Wrigley bleachers and started hurling those helmets onto the ice in celebration. Then because it wasn't funny enough already, the goal was called back and everyone had wasted their giveaway. Check out the video; the first three minutes are the best.
