Minnesota Wild captain Mikko Koivu is expected to be sidelined for at least a month with a shoulder injury, the Minneapolis Star Tribune reported on Monday.
The All-Star suffered the injury following a check from St. Louis Blues forward Vladimir Sobotka during the first period of Saturday's game.
Koivu, 28, leads the Wild in scoring with nine goals and 24 assists on the season.

In baseball terms, the Philadelphia Flyers had a hanging curveball of a matchup last night against a struggling Minnesota Wild team that was playing without its best forward and its number one goalie.
