Here is a list of players whose opponents shot at least 4% better than his team did while he was on the ice:I pulled out anyone who played less than 40 games, anyone who played under 8 minutes and anyone whose name I'd never seen before. Some of these guys just aren't very good and contribute to the shooting% imbalance. Others spent many minutes in front of terrible goaltending. Others just had cold streaks. There are a lot of players who kept shots flowing in the right direction but didn't get the results to prove it. It might be a good place to start if you're looking for good value next year. If I was Bob Gainey, I'd be discteetly inquiring about Goc and Carle. Our old friend Radek Bonk makes an appearance. He was outshot 26.6 - 23.3, but was outscored by more than 2 to 1.
