Found January 04, 2014 on Days of Y'Orr:
B's just keep giving the finger to the injury bug. Guys dropping like flies but Bruins continue to win. Seems like it's a different person stepping up every game which is awesome. This time is was Torey "Two Goals" Krug. That's his mob name by the way. Bruins are generally TERRIBLE at matinee games. Apparently the cure is a teaspoon of Krug with a couple drops of Winnipegisterrible. Sure, Krug had that awful turnover that led to the Jets only goal, but whatever. Kid made up for it big time. We heard Krug yell TEAM AMERICA **** YEAH before jumping on the ice to absolutely DOMINATE the Jets.   - A few days ago Krug gave an interview talking about how he just needed to get back to playing his game and he knew he'd get back on the scoreboard again. Well, just call him Ms. Cleo. Not even Listerine is going to get the taste of Krug out of Winnipeg's mouth. He was everywhere. Two goals *****. - Obviously ...

Torey Krug Breaks Out in Big Way As Bruins Take Care of Business Before Difficult Road Trip

BOSTON — Maybe Torey Krug should take maintenance days a little more often. The Bruins defenseman didn’t practice Friday morning, the beneficiary of what B’s coach Claude Julien labeled a “maintenance day.” Krug was dealing with some sort of nagging ailment and was even a gametime decision Saturday afternoon against the Winnipeg Jets. The decision was that the rookie would...

Boston Bruins: Reilly Smith

Photo: Brian Babineau/Getty Images Just a young and inexperienced 22-year-old hockey player, you say? I beg to differ that the Ontarian-native, Reilly Smith’s age reflects or correlates the style or ability of play he displays, nor his knowledge of the game. In 2009, the 6-foot and 185 lbs. forward was drafted to the Dallas Stars at the age of 17. Yes, he had not graduated high...

Berkshire Bank Faceoff: Jordan Caron Out, Justin Florek Expected to Make NHL Debut Against Jets

BOSTON — The distance between Boston and Providence isn’t a big one, as about 50 miles separates the two New England cities. There’s a growing group of players in the Bruins organization that knows that trip pretty well by now. The Bruins have had to dip into their AHL affiliate a bunch of times already this season for emergency call-ups, and that trend continued Saturday morning...

PREVIEW: Bruins vs. Jets -- Make it a Double

Bruins back at it this afternoon for a matinee match up against the Winnipeg Jets. We're going to blame the Jets for the artic weather outside. Bastards. Winnipeg, despite moving to the West, is still a ****** team, playing .500 hockey which isn't bad for a team with roots from the Thrashers. Meanwhile, we're still waiting for the Bruins to play a full 60...

Report: Quarterback Brett Hundley to stay at UCLA

Brett Hundley has decided to return to UCLA for his junior season of football. The quarterback was eligible to declare for the NFL draft, but his return to the Bruins makes UCLA a front-runner in next season's Pac-12 Conference championship race. The Times received confirmation of his decision from a person with knowledge of the situation. A news conference has been scheduled...

Progress Report: The First Line

Photo via avalanche.nhl.com     When the season kicked into gear last fall (yes, last fall... it's 2014 folks), the Bruins first line stared straight into the spotlight, as the eyes of Boston, and all of Bruins Nation watched eagerly to see what they could do. This line, which on paper, looks like something out of a dream, has been put to the test in the first three months...

Video- Hotstove Tonight

The panel discussed Jim Benning of the Boston Bruins being the frontrunner for the GM job in Buffalo. Also discussed was Sam Gagner trade options, what is going on with Michael Del Zotto and reports of the NHL making $30M+ in revenue from the Winter Classic and an opportunity to make some money for the older players.

**** you guys: the winnipeg jets story

I rolled in with about 12:30 left in the second to discover that it was 3-3.  Sorry for my lateness, I was mystified by the fact that it was suddenly above freezing in Massachusetts.  It's practically hoodie weather as opposed to "sitting inside feeling like you're going to throw up while trying to get feeling back in your toes" weather.  The first play I'...
