Washington Capitals blogger Matt Geiser wrote yesterday about how Alexander Semin’s time with the Caps could/should be up pretty soon. That got me thinking: how would Semin fit here in Pittsburgh?
Before you start cussing me out in your head and telling me how naive, crazy and ignorant I am to even think about such a topic, let me tell you that this is all in good fun. There is no way, no how the Pittsburgh Penguins would bring in Semin. There is simply too much baggage attached for the Pens to even consider this, but that doesn’t mean it isn’t fun to imagine what a high-profile player would do for your favorite team.
First, let’s think about how Semin would fit in the Penguins’ system.
