The San Jose Sharks mercifully ended the season for the Vancouver Canucks on Tuesday night, completing the series sweep courtesy of a 4-3 overtime victory in front of the hometown fans at HP Pavilion. And while the game was not without controversy — a controversial boarding penalty called on Daniel Sedin (his brother Henrik called the penalty “bulls**t”) led to Patrick Marleau’s series-clinching goal 13:18 into the extra session — but perhaps the most amusing scene occurred when Canucks defenseman Kevin Bieksa was sent to the sin bin late in the 3rd period. Bieksa accused Sharks forwards Logan Couture and Joe Thornton of embellishment in attempts to draw penalties throughout the series, and when he was shipped to penalty box for cross checking, two Sharks fans let him have it. I’m not particularly astute at deciphering non-verbal communication, but I’m pretty sure these two Sharks fans are accusing Bieksa of being a crybaby: Yeah, that’s definitely what they’re doing. And the fans’ antics in beautiful animated GIF form (via Eye on Hockey):   Awesome. That’ll teach Kevin Bieksa to express his opinions.
