Last night, off the opening face-off Arron Asham did his best to fire his teammates up by doing this... Unfortunately, the Rangers didn't respond to the dismay of John Tortorella (via NY Post)... “High marks for Ash. That’s what [ticks] me off a little bit. Ash goes in there and hangs in there and turns it around and we don’t come in behind him. When a player does something like that, as long as he did that, the other guys need to feed off that and do their thing and that has not happened.” ...great job by Asham setting the tone early. He was one of the few players on the team who actually had a decent game. I was at the game, so couldn't tell if Asham was jawing at any of the Pens, but if he can keep this up he'll fill a big void I felt the Rangers had in the playoffs without Avery.  Having an agitator on your side brings another element to help keep the opponent off balance. When the other team is paying more attention to Asham than Nash, that's a good thing. ...
