The Columbus Blue Jackets are hoping to erase their name from a rather dubious category: active teams that have never made the Stanley Cup playoffs. Actually that should be active team as they are the only club to have such a sad distinction. However, it is looking more and more likely that the drought will finally end for both the Jackets and their long-suffering fans.
