Take this for what you will given that it's Jaromir Jagr. From TSN:
Jaromir Jagr took to social media on Tuesday and indicated that next season may be his last in the NHL.
Speaking to fans on his official Facebook page, the 41-year-old said that he will likely hang up the skates at the conclusion of the upcoming season.
"It looks like it will be my last season, so I can't be too risky," Jagr wrote.
Jagr signed a one-year, $2 million contract with New Jersey on July 23, making the Devils his seventh NHL team.
BEST OF MAXIM
The 2013-14 season might be Jaromir Jagr's final year in the NHL. A post on Jagr's official Facebook page and a translation found on Puck Daddy quote the 41-year-old forward as saying:

Jaromir Jagr says the upcoming season will be his last. Jagr is 41 years old and has been in the NHL since 1990.
Despite his youthful comportment in Reebok photo shoots it’s important to remember that Jaromir Jagr will turn 42 years old in February 2014.
His one-year deal with the New Jersey Devils could be his last NHL contract – at least that’s what Jagr seems to believe.
A new post on his official Facebook page about his training regimen and diet included this line about the 2013-14 season.
It sounds like Boston Bruins Jaromir Jagr is finally thinking of retiring, it’s quite surprising to me actually. NESN reported that Jagr made a post on his Facebook page talking about his off season training program and that he’s likely to hang up his skates at the end of the year.
Now, it appears that Jagr’s 20th NHL season will be his last. In a post on his personal Facebook...
from Dave Lozo of The Score,
To me, based on the standards of previous Hall entrants, Elias is sitting right on the bubble.
The 37-year-old, who signed a three-year contract with the Devils this summer, has 375 goals and 930 points in 1,090 career regular-season games, all with New Jersey. He has been just as good in the postseason, posting 45 goals and 125 points in 162...
