Jaromir Jagr has arrived in Boston.
Obviously, he was physically in Beantown before his Thursday debut with the Bruins, but he made it official in a figurative sense by tipping in a goal during the second period of his first game. If there were any fans on the fence about welcoming the winger to the team, that certainly seemed to erase any doubts they had.
With the city buzzing about its newest future Hall of Famer, NESN Nation’s Dan Duquette searched Twitter for some of the best reaction. Check it out in the above video.

BOSTON — Jaromir Jagr is no stranger to being showered with praise. He’s found success everywhere he’s been, and the fans of those teams have let him know about it.
He is, after all, a future Hall of Famer.
So you could understand why there was so much anticipation in Boston on Thursday for his debut with the Bruins. A walk through North Station an hour before the game produced...
Jaromir Jagr is no stranger to joining new teams, as his debut with the Bruins on Thursday night will mark the sixth team in his Hall of Fame career. However, that doesn’t mean the forward is used to changing teams.
Jagr got his first taste of his new team on Thursday morning when he hit the ice for morning skate in advance of his first game in Black and Gold on Thursday night...
Jaromir Jagr has been around for quite some time.
Jaromir Jagr is set to make his Bruins debut Thursday night, and he will do so against a New Jersey Devils team that will be in desperate need of a win. Problem is, quite a bit is on the line for the B’s at the same time.
The Devils have lost three overtime games in a row entering this matchup, and are clinging to the eighth and final spot in the Eastern Conference playoff picture...
Jaromir Jagr is 41 years old, but didn’t look it at the TD Garden. Tuukka Rask isn’t quite as old, but made just one fewer save than Jagr has years while recording a shutout victory.
The B’s newest addition looked right at home alongside Tyler Seguin and Brad Marchand, scoring in the second period and celebrating not with his trademark salute, but instead with a more important...
Jagr celebrates withline-mates after scoring
The Bruins continued their early April success to the tune of 1-0 shutout over the 8th place New Jersey Devils. Jaromir Jagr scored the only goal for the Bruins off a skate tip from a Brad Marchand pass, and Tuukka Rask finished with 40 saves, making a number of huge ones to keep the game in check.
The game had a lot of hype leading...
Jesus Christ I think I have a huge boner right now.
And now with that, I feel like I should tell the people to temper their expectations for tonight's game. I've seen some people saying Jagr is scoring a hat trick tonight and then is going to pull out a missile and blow up the CEC and then restore faith in North Korea, so let's take it one game at a...
An injury to center Patrice Bergeron forced Bruins coach Claude Julien to shake up his highly productive second line Thursday night. Luckily for the B’s, that unit was able to retain its explosiveness even with the team’s best overall forward on the bench.
Tyler Seguin shifted back to his natural position to take Bergeron’s spot in the middle, and newcomer Jaromir Jagr stepped...
The Bruins are coming off of a 3-2 win against the Ottawa Senators and now, after the trade deadline on Wednesday, look forward to the rest of the season. The Bruins start by facing last years Eastern Conference Champions the New Jersey Devils.
The Devils are 15-12-9 this season and are tied for second in the North East with 39 points. The Devils made a move for the 38 year old...

Obviously the big aquisiton for the Bruins was Jaromir Jagr, but we all knew Chiarelli wasn't done. The defense this year hadn't been spectacular and Chiarelli said he wanted to add a defenseman to the mix. A lot of fans wanted someone like Yandle or Ryan or Boyle -- either the NHL unicorn (PMD) to help on the power play or a shut down defenseman to help what's...
PREVIEW 4:15 AM CDT
Yesterday, the Dallas Stars (16-16-3) unofficially waved the white flag of surrender on the lockout-shortened 2013 season and began looking to the future.
The team traded its leading scorer, future Hall of Fame right winger Jaromir Jagr, to the Boston Bruins and its second-line center, Derek Roy, to the Vancouver Canucks in exchange for prospects and draft...
Tyler Seguin is sliding back to center and he’ll be doing so with one of the greatest wingers ever flanking him.
With center Patrice Bergeron out with a concussion, head coach Claude Julien is moving Seguin to center — a position he played all his life before joining the Bruins, according to The Boston Globe. Seguin will be skating with recently acquired Jaromir Jagr on his wing...
Welcome to the Hotstove! As always, I'm your host, Travis Yost. The 2013 Trade Deadline didn't have the same quantity of trades we've grown accustomed to seeing over the years, but there were a handful of mini-blockbusters in the final hour. And, it's important to note that just days prior to the April 3, 2013 drop-dead date, quality pieces in Jarome Iginla and Jaromir...
