ANAHEIM, CA - NOVEMBER 21: Joe Thornton #19 of the San Jose Sharks skates by the Sharks bench to celebrate with his teammates after scoring his third period eventual game-winning goal against the Anaheim Ducks during the NHL game at the Honda Center on November 21, 2009 in Anaheim, California. This is why it's always important for announcers to enunciate words.  At a recent Sharks-Avalanche game, just listen to how Sharks analyst Drew Remenda describes this replay involving Joe Thornton.  Because "his stick" can blend together and actually sound like something else.  Something else that would be pretty disturbing to see on the ice!
