The Vancouver Canucks have defeated the Phoenix Coyotes 2-1 in a shootout. David Booth scored the first goal of the game in the 2nd period. Ryan Kesler and Aaron Rome would get the assists on the goal. In the 3rd period, Keith Yandle tied the game at 1 with an unassisted goal. In the shootout, it went 6 rounds. Cody Hodgson, David Booth and Alex Edler scored for the Canucks. For the Coyotes, Ray Whitney, Gilbert Brule and Mikkel Boedker scored.
