The Los Angeles Kings have recalled 10 players from the AHL's Manchester Monarchs to serve as a taxi squad following the minor-league club's ouster from the AHL's Calder Cup playoffs.

The group includes two players who have seen NHL action for the Kings. Left wing Richard Clune played in 14 games for Los Angeles during the 2009-10 season, recording two assists, while defenseman Jake Muzzin recorded one assist in 11 games for the Kings in 2010-11.

The Kings also recalled Tyler Toffoli from the Ottawa 67s of the Ontario Hockey League, fresh off of a 100-point season (52g, 48a) in junior hockey. The Kings' second-round pick (47th overall) from the 2010 draft is one of two players on the taxi squad who played in the OHL this season. Center Andy Andreoff, the team's third-round pick (80th overall) in 2011, had 22 goals and 36 assists in 57 games for the Oshawa Generals. He joined Manchester following the end of Oshawa's season and was recalled to Los Angeles on Monday.

Other players on the taxi squad include centers Justin Azevedo and Marc-Andre Cliché, defensemen Andrew Campbell, Thomas Hickey, and Patrick Mullen, right winger Linden Vey and goaltender Martin Jones.

The Monarchs concluded their AHL season on Friday, falling to the Norfolk Admirals in the first round of the Calder Cup Playoffs. The Kings hold a 1-0 lead on the St. Louis Blues in their Western Conference semifinal series, with Game 2 scheduled for 9 p.m. ET on Monday night at Scottrade Center.
