YouTube Blues center David Backes and Kings defenseman Robyn Regehr found themselves falling down along the boards when Regehr tried to take a bite out of the blade of Backes’ skate. The incident happened early in the third period of Game 1 of the Los Angeles-St. Louis series.  Regehr suffered a nasty cut and immediately skated off the ice. But, it’s wild that Regehr wasn’t injured worse than he was.  He actually returned to the game no more than 10 minutes after that. It’s playoff hockey, people.
