And the Rangers tough offseason continues as Dylan McIlrath underwent surgery to repair a dislocated kneecap yesterday. No timetable regarding McIlrath's rehab and return to action has been announced at present.McIlrath was injured during a scrimmage collision with fellow prospect Kyle Jean during last week's development camp at the MSG Training Center.This is McIlrath's third knee injury in the last year and a half.Jess Rubenstein at The Prospect Park says don't expect McIlrath back for at least 3-5 months....when you a play a tough physical game the way McIlrath does, you're going to suffer injuries. McIlrath's entire game is predicated on taking the body so it will be virtually impossible for the Rangers to ask him to pull up a bit on the ice....hope the kid's body isn't already wearing down....and what's up with the Rangers rewarding Jean with a contract the other day after taking out their best defensive prospect?
