Olaf Kolzig is coming home - well, to his NHL home, that is. The former Washington Capitals netminder is returning to the nation's capital to serve as the NHL club's associate goaltending coach. The 2000 Vezina Trophy winner, Kolzig holds the team-record with 301 wins, 35 shutouts and 711 games played. Kolzig, 41, is also a two-time NHL All-Star during his 14 seasons with the Capitals and Tampa Bay Lightning. He was traded to the Toronto Maple Leafs, but an injury prevented him from actually playing with the Original Six club. Dave Prior will return to his role of director of goaltending and goaltending coach.
