David Krejci netted three goals Tuesday evening to record his third-career hat-trick to guide the Bruins past the Florida Panthers by the score of 4-1. The Bruins got off to a very slow start after the Olympics when they dropped their first two games but now they have won their past two. Tuesday the Bruins got goals from ad avid Krejci and one from Jarome Iginla. The scoring in this game opened roughly 7:29 into the first when David Krejci took advantage of a sloppy Tom. Gilbert turnover and took the puck and faked down and Thomas bit and they went top left to give the Bruins the early 1-0 lead. A nice Thomas save but a long juicy rebound that got to Jarome Iginla gave the a Bruins the quick 2-0 lead 11:01 into the game.  A nice Kevin Miller play along the boards and a beautiful feed to David Krejci led to the Bruins 3rd goal and was Krejci's 15th of the year. During the third, the Panthers struck first as Brian Campbell netted his 6th goal of the year after a feed from Sean Ber...

Talking Boston Bruins fans off the edge post deadline

Boston Bruins: No fireworks at the trade deadline

Boston Bruins: No fireworks at the trade deadlineHeading into Wednesday’s NHL trade deadline, rumors circulated around the Boston Bruins organization and who they may add to bolster a defensive blue line that is still hurting from the loss of Dennis Seidenberg.  The numbers, especially on the penalty kill, without Seidenberg in the lineup have been staggering and have only reinforced...

Caron 'a little nervous' entering NHL trade deadline

Jordan Caron wasn’t going to deny he’s “a little nervous” with the trade deadline looming on Wednesday afternoon. The 23-year-old former first round pick is most likely in his final year with the Boston Bruins while struggling as the team’s 13th forward, and the sense is that Boston’s front office will do whatever they can to salvage an asset approaching free agency....

Peter Chiarelli: ‘Little Disappointed’ Bruins Weren’t Able To Do More At Deadline

BOSTON — Bruins general manager Peter Chiarelli might have improved his team some on Wednesday prior to the NHL trade deadline, but he and his staff certainly didn’t make a splash. The B’s acquired defenseman Andrej Meszaros from the Philadelphia Flyers shortly before the deadline and also claimed defenseman Corey Potter off waivers from the Edmonton Oilers. Andrej Meszaros Scouting Report: Defenseman Brings Size, Versatility To Bruins

Bruins GM Peter Chiarelli expected to deal for some help

The Bruins almost certainly will acquire one veteran defenseman, and quite possibly two, on the NHL trade market before today’s 3 p.m. deadline. Any deal they make likely will not qualify as major. General manager Peter Chiarelli is expected to achieve his long-stated desire to add blueline experience and depth to fill some of the void left by Dennis Seidenberg’s loss and the...

Ty Anderson: Vanek the Bruin? 'Cats in Boston

By this time tomorrow, the roster for the Boston Bruins' bid for their second Stanley Cup in four years will be set. They won't be able to make any trades or add any free agents that can help them win a game in mid-April or early June. In essence, general manager Peter Chiarelli has less than 24 hours to decide whether or not this roster is it. The obvious question: Is...
