The Nashville Predators announced the recall of Kyle Wilson from Milwaukee today. He had played 34 games at the NHL level with Washington and Columbus and was signed as a free agent by the Preds during the off-season.

The move became necessarily after Blake Geoffrion left last night's game in Edmonton and did not appear ready to return in the next few days. The injury left the Predators with only 20 healthy bodies so a recall appeared likely.

Nashville, Tenn. (November 29, 2011) – Nashville Predators President of Hockey Operations/General Manager David Poile announced today that the club has recalled Kyle Wilson from Milwaukee (AHL).

This December, after a decade and a half of events, Nashville’s own Bridgestone Arena celebrates its 15th anniversary. Bridgestone Arena first opened its doors to the public in December 1996 when it hosted Amy Grant’s Tennessee Christmas show, and has hosted more than 13 million guests for such events as the NCAA Men’s Basketball Regional Tournament; SEC and OVC Men’s and Women’s Basketball Tournaments; the CMA Awards; and CMT Music Awards; as well as entertainers such as Garth Brooks, Paul McCartney, Elton John and Billy Joel, Rolling Stones, Tim McGraw, KISS, Metallica and Lady Gaga.  Since 1998, Bridgestone Arena has been the home of the Nashville Predators, who just recently played their 1000th game.
