Captain Andrew Ladd's second goal of the game at 3:12 of overtime completed a comeback from a three-goal deficit as the visiting Winnipeg Jets prevented the Florida Panthers from clinching their first playoff spot in 12 years with a 5-4 victory on Tuesday. Ladd scored the tying goal at 53 seconds of the third period as the Jets erased a 3-0 deficit and delivered the game-winner to send the Panthers to their seventh loss in eight games (1-2-5). Marco Sturm, Kris Versteeg, Tomas Fleischmann and Tomas Kopecky scored for Florida, which needs one point in its final two games to win the Southeast Division title. Defenseman Zach Bogosian and Bryan Little had a goal and an assist apiece and Evander Kane also tallied for Winnipeg, which earned a split of the six-game season series.
