The Tampa Bay lightning are going to run out of defensemen.At least that's the way it seems, as their blue line took two more cruel hits with Victor Hedman and Keith Aulie both being confirmed on the shelf after each left their game against the Ottawa Senators on Thursday might in the second period.Hedman is the biggest blow, suffering a lower-body injury and is expected to miss at least a week.  His 15 points lead all defensemen on the team by a wide margin and has played in every Lightning game this season while the well-traveled Aulie broke a bone in his hand that will require surgery and is out indefinitely.On a more positive note, coach Jon Cooper expects - key word, "expects" - to get back a couple of mended defensemen as Eric Brewer and tough guy Radko Gudas are set to return on Saturday night as the Lightning host the Winnipeg Jets.
