Lightning sign G Garon to 2-year deal

The Tampa Bay Lightning signed goaltender Mathieu Garon to a two-year contract Friday.The deal is worth $2.6 million for Garon, who went 10-14-6 with a 2.72 goals-against average as a backup with the Columbus Blue Jackets last season.Garon registered a career-high 31 wins in 61 starts with the Los Angeles Kings in 2005-06.The Lightning also signed right wing Michel Ouellet to a two-way contract Friday.
