Thursday night, the Flyers avoided falling to an 0-4 season start after a huge 2-1 win over the New York Rangers. However, like last season, the Flyers will continue to be hurt by injuries. Scott Hartnell, who scored a career-high […]

Fresh off a less than inspiring victory over the Ottawa Senators, the Lightning are going to need a much better effort tonight if they have any desire to walk away with two points. Sitting with three wins through four games, the Bolts have a chance to get the season started on...
The Flyers will try to extend their winning streak to 3 games tonight after a 7-1 thrashing of the Florida Panthers last night at Bank Atlantic Center. It was a night of firsts for the Flyers against the Panthers: Matt […]

The Flyers visited the Florida Panthers on Saturday night, and they enjoyed every minute of it. With goals from Kimmo Timonen, Luke Schenn, Wayne Simmonds, Tye McGinn (First NHL goal), and a hat trick from Matt Read (First NHL Hatty), the Flyers easily took this one.
