Yesterday, there was news that the Stanley Cup Finals had lower ratings than a rerun of the West Wing. Today, it's been announced that they had worse ratings than a handful of King of Queens episodes. Wow. A new low. Thank god it's over. I didn't want to hear Game 7 got beat out by one of Andy Richter's ten cancelled sitcoms. The Big Lead has the story.

  • The NHL seems to be doing everything they can do to make the play more exciting and bring more attention to the sport, but everything is failing. I wonder what the league is going to be like in 5 years...
  • I'd guess it will be similar to the way it is now, a small group of passionate, extremely loyal fans. It won't grow and sports like MMA will race past it, if they haven't already.
