Mike Eruzione, captain of the 1980 Team USA that defeated the Soviet Union in the famed “Miracle on Ice” game at the 1980 Winter Olympics, is putting his game-worn jersey from that game up for auction. The expected price for that seemingly priceless piece of sports history? One million dollars. Eruzione, who scored the game-winner against the Soviets, is selling the jersey from that game as well as the stick he used to score the famous goal. The 58-year-old is also selling his jersey from the gold medal game against Finland. The stick is expected to fetch “only” $100,000, while the gold medal jersey, which comes in a trendy blue as opposed to the sharp white from the Miracle game, can be yours for the small price of $200,000.
