The Moncton Wildcats sent forward Matt Marquardt a Columbus Blue Jackets prospect and defenseman Myles Gomes to Baie-Comeau for defenseman David Savard, a 2nd round pick in 08, 5th round pick in 08, and a 1st round pick in 09. Marquardt had 20 goals and 13 assists in 35 games. Gomes had 6 (2g, 4a) points in 30 games. Savard has a goal and six assists in 35 contests.
