An AHL game between the Blackhawks’ Rockford IceHogs and the Red Wings’ Grand Rapids Griffins devolved into quite the scrum on Saturday night. Rockford was losing, 6-3, and had just taken a bunch of penalties when fights began to break out. The fighting didn’t end until 13 game misconducts and several other penalties were assessed.
Rockford ended up losing 11-6.

This is the most disgusting exhibition of a great sport, I love hockey and refuse to watch it because of this kind of stupidity, if one likes violence then watch kick boxing, roller derby or some other insane sports, this kind of stupidity takes away from the skill that is so great to watch.
