Via Cosby Sweaters:
The tradition of watching sports with your dad is a deep-rooted one for many children across the globe, and for YouTube user “eamu99″ it is especially important to him. His father is fighting terminal throat cancer and in the video he explains how he moved to Australia, but comes back to visit his father in Canada once every few years and they always watch hockey together.
Due to the NHL lockout, however, he is unable to keep that tradition alive and an end to the lockout would provide him and his father with some inspiration and some much needed comfort in the hard times his family is facing.
This video is a prime example of how sports transcended the actual game. Hopefully “eamu99″ will get his wish and will be able to watch one more hockey game with his father.
