Found November 26, 2013 on The Nosebleeds:

After a handful of American-born Nashville Predators players had a strong showing in a routine victory against the Toronto Maple Leafs last week, the Preds’ media department made this awesome video celebrating the good old U-S of A. It’s pretty amazing by team-sponsored highlight video standards and it honors all things America – the Founding Fathers, Hacksaw Jim Duggan, Chuck Norris, Night Rider, Apple Pie, the Grand Canyon, Statue of Liberty, Robocop and, of course, the Nashville Predators…all set to Hulk Hogan’s “Real American” theme song. America, eff yeah. The post Nashville Predators celebrate their American players with fantastic highlight video appeared first on The Nosebleeds.

Nystrom/Fisher/Wilson prove an effective combination in Hornqvist’s absence

The Predators needed a bit of line adjustments after Saturday’s shutout loss to the New York Rangers, losing Patric Hornqvist with a lower-body injury mid-game and for tonight’s contest against Phoenix as well. Shuffling Eric Nystrom into his spot with Mike Fisher and Colin Wilson seemed to be the correct combination as the trio put a goal and multiple chances on Mike Smith en...

Preds learn from past mistakes as they take down Coyotes

In front of 15,728 inside Bridgestone Arena, the Nashville Predators learned from the past mistakes and beat the Phoenix Coyotes, 4-2, on Monday night. The game was a carbon copy through two periods of the Halloween contest between these two clubs. Back on October 31, the Predators had a 3-0 lead after 20 minutes, Phoenix rallied in the second to pull within a goal and then went...

Mazanec earns fourth win in 29 save performance over Coyotes

Marek Mazanec is getting a crash course in North American hockey at an advanced level. On Thursday night, the Predators netminder earned his fourth win since being called up on November 5, as Nashville downed the Phoenix Coyotes 4-2 at Bridgestone Arena. “I still have to get used to it, but I do feel a little more comfortable than a couple of weeks ago,” Mazanec said. In the...

Patten’s Plus-Minus: Nashville Predators vs. Phoenix Coyotes

The best and worst from Nashville’s 4-2 win over the Phoenix Coyotes on Monday night. Plus: Marek Mazanec has been simply outstanding in net over the past two weeks. For a player who had never even appeared on an NHL roster until three weeks ago, Mazanec has stepped up into the role that has been given to him. Over his past five games, Mazanec is 4-1-0 with a .950 save percentage...

Nashville Predators release awesome American highlight video

I’ll admit it. If you asked me to name the hockey team from Nashville, it would take me a few beats to rattle off Predators. I’d get it. It just would take a moment. Doesn’t mean I don’t appreciate the game. It’s nothing against the Nashville Predators. Certainly not a slight towards the franchise’s American-born players. And I, of course, would never hate on awesome...

The Predators pounced early, scoring three goals in the first period en route to a 4-2 win over the Coyotes in front of 15,728 fans at Bridgestone Arena. “That was the mind-set that we have to come out with,” Predators coach Barry...

Nashville Predators highlight video celebrates America

One of the best things about sports and social media is the creative way franchises have adapted to this new age to entertain fans.  A clever viral video is a fantastic way for a team that's usually not in the headlines to gain nationwide attention.  Enter the NHL's Nashville Predators. After a routine regular season victory over the Toronto Maple Leafs late last week...

The Fangover: Preds hold off Coyotes' comeback attempt

The Nashville Predators avoided a repeat of what occurred on Halloween night when they possessed a three goal lead in the first period against the Phoenix Coyotes, but later on blew it, giving the Coyotes a 5-4 shootout win in Glendale.  Nashville opened up the scoring just 1:02 in with a Nick Spaling goal, followed by goals from Mike Fisher and Gabriel Bourque to give the Predators...

Coyotes-Predators Preview

The Nashville Predators may have found a replacement for Pekka Rinne. Now, they may need to find one for one of their top scorers. The Predators may need to withstand the potential absence of Patric Hornqvist as they seek a fourth win in five games Monday night against the Phoenix Coyotes. Nashville (11-10-2) is 6-6-1 since Rinne was lost indefinitely to a hip infection, and goaltenders...
