The Shane Doan saga has a new wrinkle added to it.According to Bruce Garrioch of the Ottawa Sun, the New York Rangers are one of four teams "willing" to offer Doan a four-year, $24 million contract. The Vancouver Canucks, Pittsburgh Penguins and Philadelphia Flyers are the other teams interested. The four-year, $30 million contract offered by the Buffalo Sabres is still on the table. This conflicts with a Vancouver Province report from several days ago that claims the Rangers "will match" Buffalo's offer for Doan....His No. 1 choice is to sign an extension with Phoenix, but the team is undergoing a sale process that isn't showing any signs of being concluded soon. He'll sign somewhere before the CBA expires, however, he might the only UFA who doesn't have any concerns about getting a job... The merry-go-round continues with Shane Doan. I for one cannot wait for September 15 so we can all stop hearing about where he'll sign. Here's hopin...

Next For Henrik Lundqvist: A Stanley Cup

There is no doubt that since New York Rangers' goaltender Henrik Lundqvist joined the league in the 2005-06 season, he has changed the Blueshirts for the better. That all changed when Henrik burst onto the scene after the lockout. The...

The following games will be nationally televised: 10/12 – @ Los Angeles Kings...
