Alexandre Giroux of the Oklahoma City Barons reached 600 points in his AHL career on Saturday, and Adirondack Phantoms’ forward Denis Hamel scored career goal number 300, on Saturday. Alexandre Giroux, 29, was originally drafted by the Ottawa Senatos in the seventh round of the 1999 NHL Entry Draft, and he has played in only 31 NHL games in his 11 season career. Giroux has played for six different AHL teams, reaching the 50-goal twice in his career, once in 2009-10, and the other  in 2008-09 when he scored 60-goals for the Hershey Bears. Giroux has scored four goals and five assists in his 31 NHL games. Denis Hamel, 33, was drafted by the St.Louis Blues in the sixth round of the 1995 NHL Entry Draft, and he has played 192 games in the NHL throughout his 15 season career.
