After three days of meetings between the NHL and NHLPA on non-economic issues such as medical care and drug testing, both sides have decided to take a step back and re-evalutate but remain n contact. No further talks are scheduled, contrary to reports that a meeting was scheduled for today.  Dan Rosen of NHL.com cuaght up with Deputy Commissioner Bill Daly after yesterday's meetings, and one of the things asked was whether or not this weekend put both sides closer to a new CBA. "What we're doing now and what we've done for the last two days, I don't think any of that is going to get a deal done but they are all necessarily elements of the deal," Daly said.
