According to multiple reports, the Nashville Predators have claimed forward Marek Svatos off of waivers. Svatos, 28, was signed to a one-year contract yesterday afternoon by the St.Louis Blues. But due to NHL free agency rules, the Blues were forced to send Svatos on waivers in order to place him on their NHL roster. The Predators have claimed the former 30-goal scorer off of waivers, according to reports, and will most likely play in their up-coming game against the Minnesota Wild on Friday night.
