Canes actually got the better of the chances through most of the game against the Hawks, so Cam Ward did not have completely steal a win, but he played well enough that he would have if it was needed. He was really sharp. He bobbled and lost a shot midway through the 3rd period that almost led to a Blackhawks scoring chance, but I honestly don't think he gave a single rebound...

The Carolina Hurricanes looked smooth Friday night against the Chicago Blackhawks, who, on the same token, looked a bit mismatched.
Corey Crawford was lit up for three goals on 25 shots while his counterpart Cam Ward stopped all 23 shots he faced.

There was an urge to show the Carey Price blunder but because he did win, we ultimately resisted. It was one of the strangest nights all season in the fantasy hockey world.
