Top Shelf No Brainer! The Vancouver Canucks have announced that they have re-signed Alex Burrows to a four-year contract extension worth $4.5 million per season. The deal also includes a no-trade clause. Burrows was been a key piece of the Canucks the past four seasons. Burrows had his breakout year in 2008-2009 when he notched what was at the time a career high in goals with 28, assists with 23 and points with 51. Since then Burrows has gone on to register three more 25+ goal seasons including one 35 goal season in 2009-2010. Another view.
